- Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow the instructions step-by-step, carefully reading each line before moving onto the next step.
Step 1 – Cut out paper Rocket templates
-Place the smaller cutout on top of the larger cutout, making sure the dotted circles on both cutouts are aligned.
Step 2 – Poke a small hole through both cutouts
Step 3 – Insert LED prongs through the small cutout
-Bend the longer positive (+) prong so it lays flat against the small cutout.
Step 4 – Apply conductive tape to small cutout
-Apply the conductive tape to the longer (+) LED prong vertically and secure the prong to the smaller paper cutout. Continue placing the tape down along the length of the Rocket cutout.
-Cut off excess conductive tape.
Step 5 – Insert negative (-) prong through the larger cutout
-Bend the negative LED Prong so it lays flat against the back of the larger cutout.
Step 6 – Apply conductive tape to larger cutout
-Apply the conductive tape to the negative (-) prong vertically and secure the prong to the larger Rocket cutout but
before reaching the bottom, make a right turn so the conductive tape makes an L shape and wrap it around to the front of the larger cutout.
-Make sure both conductive strips are touching.
-Cut off any excess conductive tape
Step 7 – Add paper clip and secure the battery
-Secure the battery to the paper cutouts, at the intersection of the two tapes, with the included paper clip.
-If the LED doesn’t light up, flip the battery and try again.
